The German Convention Bureau (GCB) has been presented with the IMEX/GMIC (Green Meeting Industry Council) Green Exhibitor Award during IMEX in Frankfurt 2013. The Award was made at last night’s IMEX Gala Dinner at Frankfurt’s Marriott Hotel Platinum Ballroom. The GCB offered a strong case for environmental sustainability. It fended off competition for this coveted award by demonstrating a strong and ongoing commitment to sustainable development through a wide variety of policies and initiatives designed to lower the environmental impact of hosting meetings and conferences over the long term.
