Boeing is set to provide two transport Aircraft to US navy!

Boeing has received a $145 million order from the U.S. Navy for two additional C-40A Clipper transport aircraft, increasing the service's ability to move military personnel and cargo around the world. Holger Hätty (54) will step down as SWISS’s Chief Commercial Officer at the beginning of 2013 after more than three years in the position. His departure is entirely by amicable agreement. The SWISS Board of Directors and CEO Harry Hohmeister have agreed to Holger Hätty’s request to enable him to take a sabbatical of several months and devote himself to his family. Malaysia Airlines alerts passengers to make adequate alternative arrangements


Malaysia Airlines wishes to notify its passengers travelling to London that public transport operators in Heathrow will be running reduced timetables, particularly on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Tomorrow, on Christmas Day (25 December), most public transport systems (bus/underground/train) to and from Heathrow are closed or will be operating a very limited service. The rail service by Heathrow Express and Connect Services will not be available due to Network Rail engineering works. Taxis will be operating at each Terminal but queues are likely, except for pre-booked services

 Emirates and Qantas have welcomed the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) draft determination that proposes to grant authorisation for their partnership for five years.

The partnership will provide customers with a seamless international and Australian network, exclusive frequent flyer benefits and world‐class travel experiences.                                                                              

ACCC approval is required for Emirates and Qantas to coordinate on pricing, sales and capacity.

Carnival Foundation Donates $54,000 for Needy Kids in South Florida


Carnival Cruise Lines and Carnival Corporation & plc have given $54,000 to 12 South Florida nonprofit organizations through the Carnival Foundation. The monetary donations were used to purchase holiday gifts for underprivileged children in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. In addition to the organizations that received funds, Carnival Cruise Lines donated new toys to needy children through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program and the Toys for Tots Program. Altogether, the toy and monetary donations provide holiday gifts to more than 4,000 local children in need.

Dubai Airport states their annual passenger traffic report!

 Passenger traffic at Dubai International is all set to surpass the projected target of 56.5 million for the year, as the world’s fourth busiest hub for international passengers racked up another month of double digit growth this November, according to the monthly traffic report issued by Dubai Airports. The airport operator revealed that traffic is forecast to reach 66 million in 2013.

Virgin America Expands Flight Service With Launch Of New Saturday Nonstop Jfk-Psp Flight
