Thousands of people are packing their suitcases, ready to travel through East Midlands Airport over the Christmas and New Year period.86,500 people are expected to travel through the airport between Friday 21st December 2012 and Wednesday 2nd January 2013 , a 0.6% increase when compared to the same period in 2011/12.
