Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia has been declared as the region’s first National Surfing Reserve.
Minister for Environment and Climate Change Ryan Smith along with Member for Bass Ken Smith, joined some of the greats of Australian surfing including seven- time world surfing champion Layne Beachley and current world junior surfing champion Nikki Van Dijk in making the announcement elevating Phillip Island to iconic surfing status.
