Senior Officers Named To Command Amtrak Police In The Central And Western States

Two veteran law enforcement officials have been named to senior Amtrak Police Department posts by Amtrak Police Chief Polly Hanson. Deputy Chief Daniel Dugan,Jr. and Captain Joseph Patterson are stationed in Chicago to command Amtrak railroad police officers in the Central and Western United States.

“Deputy Chief Dugan brings a wealth of law enforcement knowledge to the Amtrak Police Department as the new Deputy Chief of Patrol for the Central/Southwest/Pacific regions of Amtrak,” said Chief Hanson. “We have an excellent group of law enforcement professionals in this department and it is a great benefit to bring aboard individuals that can continue to reinforce what has already been established here.
