Jet Airways announces senior management change

Jet Airways (India) Limited, today announced a change in the airline’s leadership, with the appointment of Mr. Gary Kenneth Toomey as its new Chief Executive Officer. 

The appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Nikos Kardassis who left the airline after serving two terms as Chief Executive Officer, initially between 1993 and 1999, and again from October 2009 till May 2013. 

Commenting on Mr. Kardassis’ departure, Mr. Naresh Goyal, Chairman of Jet Airways said: “Nikos has made a significant contribution to Jet Airways, particularly in the development of our international network, laying the foundations for our future expansion.
