An estimated 1.5 million people across Great Britain will tune in to Lough Erne and Co Fermanagh next week on the top morning TV show, BBC Breakfast.Tourism Ireland arranged for a crew from BBC Breakfast to visit Fermanagh and the Lough Erne Resort last weekend, where they filmed a feature on the venue of the G8 Summit. The piece, fronted by Northern Ireland-born journalist Chris Buckler, will include interviews with the hotel manager Ferghal Purcell, head chef Noel McMeel, as well as with representatives of various local businesses. It will be seen by about 1.5 million viewers – or potential holidaymakers – when it airs next week.
