With just under 500 people on the Penzance to London Paddington service, as reported by the operator, the journey was stalled near Pewsey, Wiltshire. The passengers described the journey as “horrific” and claimed they were “treated like cattle”. While some others said that the delay was “unacceptable” and refunds would be given.
