Ministry of Tourism has undertaken joint development of tourist amenities at Amritsar & Rai Bareilli, Trivandrum, Gaya and Agra Cantt Railway Stations in association with Ministry of Railways. Central Government assistance of Rs.10.28 crores, Rs.5.98 crore, Rs.5.18 crore and Rs.5.05 crore has been provided by the Tourism Ministry for the development of Amritsar & Rai Bareilli, Trivandrum, Gaya and Agra Cantt Railway Stations respectively.
