Northern Territory tourism to get a boost this weekend

In a bid to promote the Northern Territory as a tourist destination, Brad Jones Racing drivers Jason Bright and Fabian Coulthard are gearing up this week as part of Tourism NT’s partnership with the V8 Supercar racing team.

NT Minister for Tourism and Major Events Matt Conlan said some of the best Territory attractions will be showcased during this weekend’s broadcast of the V8 Championship round at Hidden Valley in Darwin.

“The V8 Supercars have a huge following around Australia and internationally and this weekend is a perfect opportunity to promote the NT as a holiday destination to the hundreds of thousands of motorsport fans who watch the event,” Mr Conlan said.
